From Sapey Brook to Sicily
paintings from home and abroad by Bill Evans
Saturday 4th - Monday 6th May, 2019
Bill Evans had his first solo show in Oxford 50 years ago. Having spent most of his life as a farmer, forester and estate manager in Whitbourne, he is now a full-time painter. Many of Bill’s paintings are inspired by the beautiful corner of Herefordshire in which he lives, but he has recently made painting trips further afield. Both themes were represented in this exhibition.
The exhibition raised funds for Longlands care farm, a charity providing alternative education and mental health support for young people.
