About the gallery

The Chapel Gallery, Bromyard is a pop-up art gallery housed in the old Congregational Chapel in Bromyard,  originally constructed in 1701. The building itself, which was last used for religious worship in the early 1970's, is now  Grade II Listed  and occupied as a domestic residence.

We host several exhibitions a year with an emphasis on showing the work of artists with connections to Herefordshire and the surrounding region.

The gallery itself has several different exhibition spaces, each with its own character. This is no 'white cube.' The rooms have relationships to the building's past as a chapel and its present as a domestic home.

The gallery is run by Vicki Barker and Sheila Farrell.

We are linked with Bromyard Community Arts

The Gallery is closed to the public between events but you can contact us  at any time.

Our opening hours are published with each event.
