Current & Future Exhibitions and Events
a ripple of land
an exhibition of landscape
Saturday 6th to Sunday 14th July
Open 11am to 5pm with pop-up cafe
(closed Monday & Tuesday)
Our landscape has long inspired artists and poets alike. Our title comes from a poem by Elizabeth Barratt Browning writing on the Herefordshire countryside. And you may see in local museums and galleries beautiful works by English artist David Cox painted some 200 years ago. Artists have continued to respond to the landscape to the present day. So, The Chapel Gallery, Bromyard is delighted to show works by invited local artists that explore the ‘ripple of land’ in a range of styles and media. And while the work of these artists is shown in our downstairs galleries, we will also be showing in our upstairs gallery, paintings & drawings submitted for our Open Exhibition made by people of all ages and experience.
You could show your work in the gallery!
