Black Mountain Painters

The Black Mountain Painters is a group of seven artists drawn from across the country who meet regularly at Niel Bally’s studios near Talgarth in Wales.  Since 2014 they have  supported each other, to exchange ideas and discuss issues arising from their work as painters. This was the first time the group had exhibited together. Each in their own way seeks to find better ways to communicate the sense of place which seems to be at the centre of all their different approaches and practices through their use of colour and form.
